Drawing Anime and Manga characters

At our popular アニメ Anime drawing and doodling group in December on Zoom, we had a fun and relaxed time drawing our best loved characters from anime and manga 😁 

Blair gave images to help inspire participants as well as detailed demos at the group. He guided people step by step with helpful tips – drawing heads, faces and especially eyes which can be drawn in lots of styles. 

We worked with different materials, some folk joined simply with paper and a pen or pencil, and Blair demonstrated how to draw with pencils, pens, colouring pencils and art brushes.

There was some time to chat about our favourite series – from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to Death Note, Tokyo Revengers and Dragonball Z. We had a tanoshii – fun – time trying out a few common Anime Japanese words too!
