Through Autumn 2021 Blair worked with North United Communities with funding from Creative Scotland and Glasgow Connected Arts Network to lead an inspiring Manga, Anime and Comic Project of free sessions for young people in three locations in the North and West of Glasgow.
Blair helped them build art skills, confidence, explore fascinating worlds of Anime and Manga, and express feelings, experiences and hopes. It was a relaxing group with plenty of fun too!
Here are pictures from the first half of the project, when we mainly drew and developed sketchbook doodles and ideas on paper with pens, coloured pencils and craft materials. The young people really enjoyed and grew in confidence as the weeks went on.
